Absolutely check this spot out if you’re in town - some of the BEST slices I’ve ever had, wonderfully reasonably priced, fun atmosphere, great combo deals (2 slices and a glass of wine for $14). But the best part for me was customer service. As someone in hospitality for over 20 years, I was so impressed with Quinn, the young man behind the counter. Not only did he do a seamless job upselling (he mentioned the combo deal (with a “beverage”, not wine specifically), which led me to see a great deal, but he was personable, charming but not forced. You would have thought he had been in the business for his whole life, like “in the family”. I thought he was the son of the owner kind of thing. Come to find out he’s been there a month or two - he exuded confidence, gave a great recommendation (get the buffalo slice!) and was smooth. I didn’t catch the young woman’s name who also assisted (around 9pm on Sunday 6/21) but she was also fantastic, expedient polite and polished. Great food, service, quality and pricing. Please show this spot some love!

This place is so yummy and so friendly! I’m visiting from out of state and was looking for some yummy inexpensive food. The staff is so kind and helping. They care about getting everything you need and making sure you get the greatest and best experience! The best experience I’ve ever had.

4.6 / 5 It delivers. Service, quality, and of course, pizza. But the head servers Mel and Salvatore were so passionate and helpful. It can be a bit hectic, but worth the wait (small pick up line). Better than most DC pie’s. NY style (not doughy and soft). Well made and commands respect. 1) this is mostly a fast hitting slice shop. Usually 6 different types (I went back to back nights to check). 2) margarita (amazing - recommend), pepperoni (good), sausage and onion (liked), pepperoni and sausage (good), sausage and green pepper (very good), mushroom (didn’t try), cheese only, ricotta dollop. So maybe 8 or 9 slices always ready. 3) you can order slices hot and ready or a whole pie and wait. I got 6 slices my first visit. They have a mini -reheat oven to recrisp. I was skeptical but the slices slapped. 4) I have had pizza from New York and Toronto to Jersey and Miami. This pizza was a winner on three levels I didn’t expect. Crust is an 8/10 (not the best ever, but crunchy, and favourable). The sauce is closer to a 9/10 and perfect for a pie. The cheese to pie ratio was spot on (not too much or little). This was in the world of top 10% of pizza in the best pizza cities I’ve been.

Stopped by Andy’s Pizza in Alexandria on a cold night while in town for work. I’m from CA and it was my first time in the area. I saw a steady stream of people going in and out, which is always a good sign. The staff was friendly and suggested the 2 slices and a Coke deal, great value and perfect for a quick dinner. I also ordered wings and went with traditional buffalo. They were solid, but I probably should’ve tried the Old Bay wings since that seems like the local favorite. Tyler, who I believe is the manager or owner, was especially welcoming. That kind of hospitality makes a difference when you’re new in town. Overall, great spot for pizza by the slice. Good food, friendly service, and a place I’d definitely come back to next time I’m in Alexandria.

Andy’s Pizza in Old Town is a fantastic pizza spot in Old Town, Alexandria. We ordered the pepperoni and sausage pizza as well as the white pizza, and both were absolutely delicious; fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The inside is cozy, warm, and nicely decorated, making it a great place to sit and enjoy a meal. They also offer wine, which is a nice touch and pairs well with the food. Overall, everything was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our experience. We will definitely be back! Service was quick and polite and they offered Veterans' discount to my husband which is an added bonus.
